Snap into Spring!

Join us for this interactive photography workshop in Victoria Park! We will be covering the basics to help you get more out of that powerful little camera in your pocket.

With the technology these days we can take fantastic, detailed photographs with even the more inexpensive range of cameras. But sometimes, despite having the benefit of good lenses and sensors our pictures come out drab, poorly lit, or out of focus. This workshop will help you work some very simple kinks out of your photography so you can snap better pictures for whatever reason you wish to do so – could be for photo albums, essays, or journals, business photos, or to simply pump up your Instagram feed.

We will explore:

  • Composition
  • Lighting
  • Making pictures
  • Action shots
  • Portraits and landscapes
  • Basic post-processing

This is an interactive program! Come ready to learn, have fun, and perhaps get your knees a little dirty!

Your learning doesn’t have to stop when the program ends. Participants are encouraged to share their photos from the workshop on the Tumbleweed Naturalist Facebook page for constructive comments and to take advantage of a free consultation to assess their progress down the road via email or telephone.
